I was curious to discover how it would perform on my hair when I flatiron it. I was stopped dead in my tracks: Silk Result Hair Smoother contains alcohol. If I am not mistaken, alcohol is listed as the first ingredient.

I am really trying to avoid products which contain alcohol.

I actually did purchase a product for use when flat ironing on Friday. It is from the Aveda Light Elements line, and is called Smoothing Fluid. It is alcohol-free, and contains some of the usual Aveda goodies.

I will give a product review when I try it out!
