Wash, rinse, radiate

An apple a day can get you silky, shiny strands. Combine:

1 cup apple juice
1 cup pear juice
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Pour it onto your hair like shampoo and let it soak for 3 minutes before rinsing. Apples contain potassium and tannins, which fortify your follicles, making your hair stronger and thicker so that it won't break and helping to lengthen the life of your color.

Has anyone tried this? It was a beauty tip from Self magazine.

I think this would be good once a week like a clarifying shampoo if you use lots of products on your hair like me. But not everyday.
