When I left the dorm this morning my hair was looking so good.It was shiny. smooth and the ends perfectly curled. In the 25 minutes that it took me to get to work this morning on the bus, my hair had reverted to a frizzy uncurled mess. Although I broke down and used some hair spray this morning.

WHY ME!!!!!!!

Have you tried Phytodefrissant? It's a bit pricey, but well worth the money. The price range is between $22 to $24.

I use this on my hair after every wash/conditioner and it really works on cutting down the frizzies.

I've used $4 Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum!! It's great so far! Also Lustrasilk has a Smooth Ends Serum that's good as well ($3). If the serum is too much or sticky Garnier Fructis has a Smoothing Milk that's $5....
These are all good products and the Smoothing Milk can be used on wet & dry hair!!
-HTH :look:

Hey Karezone,

I'm sorry that happened to you! Do you remember about mixing blackstrap molasses with your conditioner? followed by a vitamin c crystal rinse? even if you skip the vitamin c crystal rinse, blackstrap molasses w/conditioner is an effective frizz buster and leaves a faint but yummy trace of scent in your hair! Mahalialee invented this recipe (she's natural) but it works *very* well on my relaxed hair when I do rollersets. And little me tell you, HUMIDITY in the LAND of 10,000 LAKES is NO JOKE during the summer! :antlers:  If you do a search for "blackstrap molasses," or "BSM" as we used to call it:lol:, on this specific forum (Hair Care Tips and Product Review Discussion), you should be able to pull up the recipe.

Good luck!

Thanks for the tip. I just printed out the old thread you mentioned.

Thanks for the tip. I did everything I usually do after a wash including using a serum, I think the serum I am using is more for shine than frizz. I have been forced by the state of my hair into a protective style. I will make time out to do something about it after the humidity calms down a bit and exams are over.

I like the BSM and crystal idea. That seems very interesting
