How would you get this style

I'm just talking about the big wave effect? Not the bangs? Is there way that you can roller set that would result in the big loose wave?

I'm thinking bantu knots on dry hair, with very minimal styling product. I can't think of a wet set that will produce loose waves.

i've tried bantus, rollersetting, can't ever get the same results. of course the curling wand means u'll be putting heat to your hair so maybe someone else can chime in
