How would you achieve this look?

Well, if I would have to achieve THIS look? Step 1: lay down and start doing sit-ups like my life depends on it!

just kidding. How about a braid out with some product in it? Or a rollerset, take the rollers out, and carefully take the curls apart with your fingers?
Great pic btw.

I would say spiral rods, twist rows(instead of the tradional plait-cornrows), or twisting all your hair (like locking) only without the gel and putting in ponytail like till dry.

Did you understand any of that

LD - There is a post re whether Jada's hair is real and there is some info as to how to achieve that look

HTH

This look looks like it could be achieved by doing a rollerset on the greenish/blue (I think 3/4 inch or 1 inch) rollers and combing the curls out after they have set. That should leave nice, large bouncy waves like that.

LondonDiva,

I just saw your other thread about relaxing so I'm guessing you are relaxed. I am too (or maybe "texturized" is a better word) and that is what my hair looks like if I let it air dry without combing or brushing it.

If I add oil or gel without combing or brushing, it will be flatter, sleeker and shinier, but still wavy/curly. If I brush it, then put it up it a bun or twist for while, it becomes straight.

So maybe you could try washing your hair and airdrying it with no manipulation, and with little or no product in it. I hope it works for you.
