0k so im getting micros done. so far so good but the person doing my hair does not no how to tie the hair so it wont unravel you know how you have the hair hanging down from the braids..?:ohwell:

I will be putting braids in my hair in a bit. I use human hair and it unravels when freshly done just up until where my hair ends. While it's a pain, I just rebraid it again. I usually spend a lot of money on my extension hair so I usually intend on using it for a few years, so I can't afford to tie knots. Usually even after two years, my human hair is reusable. I only buy new hair when the hair I had is too short for my purposes or if in a moment on insanity, I threw away the old hair.

After a few washes, the hair unravels less.

i've gotten mocro braides with human hair that have not come undone. If braided correctly they should not come undone. I did not have not the ends knotted either.

I used superglue

*clutching m'pearls*

You're killing me... :whyme: Human hair can be reused and is so durable so why the abuse????:crying3:

When you put glue, doesn't that just destroy the hair so you can't use it again? Are you able to heat style after this mutilation?

I can't take it. :ill:

I've never needed to tie my micros to get them to stay. I didn't know you were supposed to.

Depending on what type of hair is used, it may need to be secured with a slip knot at the end. When I used to get micros the braider did a slip knot at the end when I used straight human hair . Thats the only way the straight hair would stay braided. Wet and wavy human hair doesnt usually unravel as much so they didnt need to slip knot those.

ETA : I had the super glue used a few times too and it worked but I would try the slip knots first.
