How to take out rollers....

.....Has anyone else found that their method of taking out their rollers makes a huge difference in appearance? For example, I used to just unravel my hair from the roller in the exact opposite direction that I had rolled it up. But now I find that if I slightly twist the roller to the side and slide it out, my hair makes an automatic cute spiral curl and if I finger comb them slightly, I can just go like that. I dont' know if that made sense or not

Does anyone else find their manner of removing rollers changes the effect?
