How to start up your own product line??

I am interested in making my on product line but have no clue of how to go about doing so. Can amyone help me and give suggestions??

One way is to start making your stuff--give out samples to your friends-If you have some money or an investor you could hire a chemist and start experimenting--

Do you have any ideas? Have you experiemented? Do you have samples?

I've considered the same. I'm still clueless about how to tackle this but a few things I know is that when i do create it, I plan to package them and rent a booth at all of the conventions/expos that are in the area, also maybe sell at a few flea markets and then try to sell to a few BSS in this area. And Build a website. One thing i am waiting on is to figure out my 'thing'....I think for a small line to be successful, it gotta have a special umph that would make a person choose your line over NTM, or another popular brand. i think if you are ready, then one thing you can get started on is designing the labels and writing your phrases and whatever....then hopefully you would have developed a good product by then.....

Excellent advice and a good way to get started, You can also go on the web sites that sell pure shea butter and essential oils and stuff and they have the starter kits and container you can use. HTH's

I think YOU are your own biggest source of advertising. If people come up to you and ask you about your hair you can tell them about your product, and how it worked for you. I think that is really important for a person starting their own business. So start mixing your products, tweaking them, and using them so that when people see your gorgeous mane, you can tell them how you got it that way.
