I know you hair is NOT as thick as some of you ladies.
But when you bun and put you hair up, how do you get your hair to have that slicked look. I've tried aloe vera, elasta glaze, tying it down after appling product, everything.

I'm thinking it's the techinque.

HELP!!!

EQP Glaze with a small comb on freshly washed and dried (usually rollerset) hair was how my stylist always did it. The comb helped to pull the product through and get it flat to the head. It held better than using a brush.

I've used:

Elasta QP Mango Butter
EQP Glaze
Let's Jam (Lite)
IC Hair Gel with sparkelites (wrong name but it's something like that - it has no alcohol in it)

After combing and styling your hair in the style you want it, take a fine tooth comb and comb the TOP layer of your hair only. That means, the comb should not be touching your scalp. Works everytime.

I use a little Lacio (or any leave-in) & oil (castor & almond mix), silk scarf & blow dryer.

I hadn't had a relaxer since August so this was the only way to tame my new growth. (I have fine hair).

I find that no matter the product, if I don't use my Denman to make it go back I get all kinds of frizz. Use a Denman w/product and your hair is golden!
