hey i did a serch btu it tole me that the page could not be found. does anybody hair any pics on how to wrap your hair?

I started wrapping my hair using the mushroom style and it's been working for me. What I do is comb my hair straight out but sticking out on all sides of my head, like a mushroom cut (hope that made sense). I make a part anywhere in the front and start to comb the hair around my head. I don't have as much trouble with the middle when I do it this way. I then use a brush to make it smooth and pin which ever parts are too short to stay down and the tie it up. When I comb it out in the morning I first comb it out in a mushroom style so it looks almost the same as it did before I wrapped it. Then I proceed to comb it down in the style that I want. I find that combing it out this way doesn't cause the left side (I wrap to the right) to stick out like it use to in the past.

My stylist uses this technique to wrap my hair. I just remembered that! I may go try it this week. @Crazyabouthair, do you do this to wet or dry hair? Because, I've tried to wrap before on wet hair and it only makes me /images/graemlins/angry2.gif . the only time it acts right wet is after a relaxer.

I wrap my hair similarly to the pics that allandra posted. I start on the side, combing hair forward and using jumbo pins as I go around the head.

The first time I tried this I had washed my hair and let it air dry for an hour or two. It was still damp when I did my wrap but in the morning it came out smooth. Since then I've been doing it on dry hair before I go to sleep and it's been working just as well. Wrapping wet hair drives me crazy too.

I never thought of putting a roller in the middle of my head. Does everyone else do this too? I feel like I'm late on this.

[/ QUOTE ]I put two or three big rollers on the top of my head (Crown area) than wrap it...it gives you more volume and body!
