How to make a henna mix?

I just purchased some henna. I got the Punjabi Prime because I wanted red (thanks ladies for the advice on what type of red to get) and I've read so many ways how and what to put in a henna mix. I also read that there are ways to make the red stand out even more.

For anyone who has used henna, can they tell me a basic recipe on how to make it?

When I mix my henna, It is a very simple:

Honey
Olive oil
Hot sixx oil
water

Thats it. I do not let it sit. I use it immediately and since I have no steamer, I let it sit for two hours on my head.

Basic recipe:

1 small can (8-12 oz) of coconut milk
honey, about 2 -3 tbls
1 - 2 heaping tbls plain full fat yogurt
black tea (cool)
oil of choice (optional)
henna

Add the coconut milk, yogurt, honey and oil to the henna and mix. The mixture will be very lumpy. Add tea, while mixing, until smooth. Let sit until color release or package for freezing.
