How to learn to french braid?

I think i could learn to wash and go (air dry anyway) as well as stretch better if i were able to french braid my wet hair. i tried to learn once before and all i found were confusing charts. is there an easier way to lean to do it?

Don't be sad lady. I learned from watching YouTube. I prefer the dutchbraid because of the thickness.

Oh and I practiced a lot while watching tv. That helps too.
