I need some tips on what conditioner or trick to do before I get a Dominican blow out or if I use heat on my hair. What can I do to have it not so dry and dull looking after heat is applied. Are there conditioners out there for this?

make sure you deep condition (bring your own if you have to). use a leave in. and before they blow dry, make them use a heat protector (like chi silk or other serum).

my hair came out great this way last time i went to get a blowout.

What are some good deep conditioners with 0 protein?

aubrey organics honeysuckle rose and keracare humecto are 2 of my favs.

my hair (especially the ends) always look healthy and smooth if i apply castor oil to them overnight and pincurl or tuck them under somehow... it magically covers that dry scraggly look :yep:

You have to focus on moisturizing your hair before the heat. This way when the heat closes your cuticle it seals the moisture in. If you try to add alot of moisturizer after it's already straight it could ruin the sleek finish, or cause your hair to start reverting. Make sure you use something creamy, and use a good heat protectant. You can add shine and seal with a dab or oil afterwards - like castor or jojoba. HTH
