Help me end this debate with my friend.....
you put the relaxer from roots to the bottom or the bottom to the roots. I'm not talking about a touchup, but a first time relaxer.

I refuse to look stupid man.......

I'm not sure but I think you both may be right. I think you have to be the most careful with the ends (bottom) and the roots. Ends are usually the thinnest and susceptible (sp?) to damage and the roots relax quicker because the closer to the scalp the warmer that area is and therefore processes quicker. So I guess I'm saying you focus on the middle first and do the roots and ends last. LOL I'm not really sure, interesting question though. Looking forward to seeing your replies.

I would say bottom to roots since it would give the bottom enough time to process. Putting it at the root first might cause it to burn the scalp quickly which would result in the other part being underprocessed. That is my guess but..., what do I know anyway. What did you tell your friend?

Good question Divine.
Hopeful's answer sounds pretty good.
