I recently discovered some short patches at the back of my hair. I suspect they are from my days of wearing tracks. I was just wondering, what can I do to nurse them back and get it to grow back? Any tips please?

Keep it moisturized. If you're relaxed, also do a moderate protein treatment from time to time. But definitely keep it moisturized. I'd also use aloe vera, it's healing and is good for hair growth.

What helped me to baby my nape (broken and beady central) was applying HE LTR Leave-in every night before bed. When I was doing this, I noticed a real improvement in my hair... but then when I ran out (the bottle is so tiny) my nape started breaking off again. I'm going to go to Target today and buy 2 bottles!

When I had a broken area in the back of my head I would keep it extra moisturized and braided up. The braid wasn't really for any special purpose, it just made me feel better about having that short area because i didn't have to see it often when I wore my hair down.

Yea I agree with the other ladies, keep it well moisturized. I am dealing with the same situation now with my nape...I apply BB Lotion and whatever oil I have on hand to it daily.
