I really do not understand. Nearly every moisturizing product I use leaves white stuff on my hair. I know I sometimes put a little bit of oil on my hands before using Qhemet products. But I always feel everything else still leaves a white film on top pf my hair and it is quite embarrassing to go out in public like that.

Is this a porosity problem?

What is your solution?

You can use less product and cleanse your hair to start with a fresh palatte. Qhemet products don't need to be heavily applied as they are already rich. I had a film from the AOHC at first by going too hard with product.

Maybe try clarifying your hair and then only use a tiny bit of product at a time. It's easy to add more, but not take away...

Your products are probably working against each other. You will probably have to keep experimenting until you find products that complement each other. It has happened to me a few times.

My hair buddy taught me to rinse REALLY well after applying my moisturizing conditioner and deep conditioning and then use any products sparingly. I literally use a dime size amount if that's what it says on the back of the product.

If I get build up I rinse with ACV and water. I do not use clarifying shampoos on my hair. It causes dryness and tangles(for me).
