hi ladies :) i just relaxed this past sunday and also did an adore rinse (velvet black)....well my hair is not as black as i'd like it to be so i am going to try adore in jet black. how long should i wait before i do another rinse??

a rinse?...go ahead and do another rinse....rinses are not harmful at all....at least not in my hair..i highly doubt you will have any problems...just use a good conditioner after.

thanks so much for the advice :) i was really disappointed in how NOT black my hair is right now, i want a deeper black.....

I used this same color before and I agree my hair didnt seem to have really made much of a difference in color, but if I were you I would wait at least two weeks to be on the safe side because this isnt a rinse, its a semi permanent hair color.

mrschicks2002 you're right this is a semi-permanent color not a rinse.

ugh, wish i would have picked up the jet black in the first place!

Since it's a semi and not a rinse I'd say wait a at least 2 weeks also. (even though I probably wouldnt but thats just me. I want what I want NOW!). Moisturize and condition thoroughly a few times in between. That sucks! Velvet black sound so puuurty!

I totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's strange because velvet black usually does me just right!!! but this time it didn't, guess i didn't leave it on long enough, especially on my ends....it aint cute even though nobody can notice it but i sure can :nono:

I thougth a semi was a rinse :spinning:

I use them immediately after a relaxer and whenever I want a color change - whether I did one a few days before or a few weeks before.I thought they were good for closing the cuticle (ala Tracy Bootcamp for color 2004)
