How soon after washing can a relaxer by applied?

I know that this was asked recently, however I can not find it.

So, how soon after washing can I apply a relaxer? Specifically Phyto???

It should say "be applied" not by applied. Sigh.

I believe the time frame is 2-3 days.

I've washed as soon as two days before relaxing with no problem

These are straight from the Phyto instructions the do's and don'ts

#8 Do not pre-shampoo hair. Wait at least 3 days after last shampoo before relaxing your hair.
#9 Do not wet or manipulate scalp in any way before application.
