I got my first one two weekends ago. Next weekend is my sister's graduation, and I know that if I go down there with 17 weeks of new growth that my mama's gonna try to put a perm in my hair! I think I'm gonna transition to either natural or at least texturized. The last time the stylist used heat on the entire length of my hair. I just wanna know if it's practical for me to go back in just 3 weeks. If I do eventually get texturized, will this heat that I'm using be a death sentence for my hair?

I think it would be fine. I also would suggest asking them only to blow out the new growth. That would be less stress on the relaxed ends!

I agree. You can just get your roots blown dry and this will look just as good. I don't get the entire hair blown out at all.
