Ayeshia said:depends on how often you comb your hair...I used to go about 1.5 weeks without combing and I had A LOT of hair in the drain. But I figured if I lost about 50-100 hairs everyday, that accumulates to 500-1000 strands on hair that I may see in the drain provided that I do wait that long to comb. Now that I comb almost everyday the shed hairs dont have time to accumulate in my head so it isnt as devastating![]()
Breaking out the calculator...TSUprincess04 said:I honestly don't understand all of this "50-100 strands a day is ok." I mean, if the average dark haired person has about 100,000 (give or take) strands of hair on his/her head, then losing 50-100 a day would eventually lead to bald-headedness before the strands even had a chance to grow back to your original hair length. I'm sorry, but if I saw 50 strands of hair in my comb, I'd freak out. It's happened before, and I don't wanna go back. I'm fine with my few lil strands a day.

Even though I never count the strands of my shedded hair, I know very well it's more than 2, 5 or 10 strands. I don't have time to count shedded hair strands.
