How many degrees do all your flat irons go up too?

I'm just wondering because i've heard all these things about the sedu, chi and fhi and i'm just wondering if they go a lot higher than the standard flat iron which is about 220 degrees.
Also, have you bought a flat iron that goes up a lot higher, like 400 degrees, even though you know you're never going to use it that high?

Please note that some people are talking in degrees celsius and some in degrees fahrenheit.

eg: 200 degree Celsius = 392 degree Fahrenheit

I would hope not! My poor hair feels burnt just at the thought of that- lol!

My fhi goes somewhere between 400-450 farenheit

I do not use any plug in flat irons, I just don't feel they can give me the look and silkiness that I want when I do flatiron my natural hair. I will probably never stop using my marcel irons and stove, because I know it is a win win look every time I use them. I know when enough is enough and it's too hot, I have learned my lesson the hard way, burnin my hair! I love my marcel irons and I want my boyfriend to buy me the Feather Flat Iron, then it will really be on
