I'm wondering b/c I'm ready to start doing this as a substitute for the good ol bradiout/twistout.
I realize this probably has a lot to do with thickness and how much hair you have, but I wanted to get a general idea of how many I should do.

Another ?: How long do you wait before you take them down and are they completely dry when you take them down?

My hair holds onto moisture for dear life so I'm wondering if I'd have to sit under the hood dryer for a few minutes in order for them to dry in a reasonable amount of time.

Feedback, please. :look:

I only did about 6 knots in my hair. I liked the results, my hair had a very loose wave to it. The more knots you do the tighter curled your hair will come out so I would also think about what look exactly your trying to achieve. I believe I did them on dry hair so I didn't sit under the dryer as I only spritz some setting lotion on each section. I left my knots in overnight because I wanted to really set. If you starting with wet hair I would def suggest sitting under the dryer. I have pics in my album of how my hair came out, it is in the transitioning folder, april-june album. The pw is in my profile. HTH

Thanks honey...I'll check the album out after my nap

Another ?: I had no idea how much of a PJ I really am. I was going through a box of products today (I really need to sell all this stuff) and found a nearly full bottle of John Freida's Dream Curls!! Has anyone used this for bantu knots????
