How long should you stop using MTG before a Relaxer

Hello ladies....

How long should you stop using MTG before relaxing? I have been doing a search and have read that it can increase the burning sensation, and possibly breaking off . Is there a grace period that should be followed between the two. Please let me know...thanks ladies...

I space at least 3 weeks between the last MTG use and relaxer application. I haven't had a problem with this but I did have major burning after waiting only 1 week.

I stretched for 12 weeks then a had relaxer and stopped my MTG use about 10 days before my relaxer and I had not burns or anything my hair camr out great!!!!

Hello.
My last MTG application was on Saturday and I relaxed on Wednesday. I must say that my scalp has not burned or tingled at all and my hair new growth came out a lot straighter than usual.
