How Long should use a heat cap when DCing?

With my heat cap the minimum 30min the maximum 1hour.

I agree! My hair LOVES moisture. I get the best results using heat for 45-60 minutes. Try it for 1 hour and let us know how it feels. If your hair gets too mushy, you know to apply for less time.

This process if very trial and error. Believe me, your hair will let you know what is likes/dislikes.:
 
The norm for me is 1 hour under the heat cap. I've never done it for more than that. Following the directions for heat on the dc (if any) is a good idea too.

I forgot to add. Make sure to try DCing on both wet and dry hair. I find my hair looks/feels better with I DC on dry hair. I sucks up nothing but moisture and makes my hair amazing for styling.
