I have one and am dying to try it just once. The sad thing is that I don't know how much hair u gotta have to use it? My hair is ear length is that long enough?:ohwell:

I had a bad experience w/ the miniglide. I'll never use that thing again! It singed my hair right off and it had no temp control.

The regular Maxiglide is maybe 1.5 - 2" wide, so I would say you need a safe 4+" of hair to press because you'll want to be able to hold onto the ends of your hair.

The mini glide is hopeless in my opinion. It just heats up but doesn't have the same technology as the Maxiglide, it just gets hot, so I guess it qualifies it to be a flat iron? (Just in case I'm getting it wrong, I'm talking about the really skinny flat iron with the orange plate with the pins on it, just an on/off switch)

my hair was fairly short when i first used my maxiglide... i can't say how long, but it was in 9/05 right after i texturized.... i attached pics for a visual...
