Just curious...I am letting mine air dry today.

a long time at least 4-5 hours i put in a ponytail and i spray it with leave in conditioner and coconut oil with almond oil

It depends on what I do to my hair. It takes about 14 hours if I do a braidout/twistout of 12. If I wear a ponytail and let it airdry, it takes about 7-8 hours. If I do just two big twists or braids, it takes about 10 hours or so. Usually, I still have damp hair in the center throughout the next day.

Just like HairLove, it depends on the style it's drying in:

-Out, about 3 hrs or so
-Cornrows or flat twists (for braid/twist outs) about 18-22 hrs

depending on width of braids
-Buns, about 10 hrs or so

if i don't unbraid the ponytail when i get home from work to let it finish drying, it usually takes until the next day. i usually do unbraid though because it sometimes starts to smell otherwise.

Hairlove and Marla how do you do your ponytail method? Last night I washed and put my hair up at about 7:00 pm and It's still damp now 12 1/2 hours later.

My hair is thick, but very good when it comes to airdrying. Maybe 5 hours or so. What helps my hair to airdry quicker is to toss it throughout my hands from side to side. This speeds things up for me.

I dont know why Mines take so long maybe because I have it in braids but it takes about 8 hours to fully dry

If my hair is in a bun, It takes like 2 1/2 days to dry.
From a braidout (even when I take it down), it takes a day and a half.
When I wear it out, it takes about 8-9 hours to dry.

My hair holds wetness for dear life, but I think that's just because my hair is mostly relaxed and it tries to hold on to as much moisture as it can for as long as it can!

a couple of hours for the ends... maybe 6-8 hrs for the body... and until the next day (a whopping)18~20hrs for the part in my ponytail .
