How long do you wait....

...until you wash your hair after getting a relaxer?

I am a newbie so as of late I have just been working on improving growth and maintaining good hair care overall. However, I just got my hair done yesterday and the thought occurred to me. I used to wash my hair a week after or when I felt it was getting gross from all of my exercising. To any future responses TIA.

A week generally but I have waited two weeks because I want to keep that fresh relaxed hair as long as I can. I've never gone past two weeks because it gets too dirty. It's just not the same after the first wash.

Ditto never past 2 wks. but I know I asked this question when I first started and the responsed ranged from the next day to 2 wks. So.......
