I plan on using Vitale regular strength relaxer. I have fine 4a/b hair that easily straightened while I was relaxed. I like my natural hair but I want a more polished look because my coils always end up like "be be's" since I play with them so much /images/graemlins/whyme.gif . TIA /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Since you say your hair is the type that straightens easily--I would use a mild strength relaxer. My hair is very resistant to straightening and I use a regular strength relaxer to texturize....

I second using a mild relaxer - also I wouldn't leave it on for longer than 5-6 min. Basically you should apply it, maybe let it sit for a min or 2 then rinse it out. You can also apply conditioner to your hair first to slow down processing.

Thanks ladies. Unfortunately I already bought a regular. Should I just leave it on for 2-3 minutes?
