How long did it take you to Grow your hair???

I got my hair cut in a very short Bob (up to my ear lobes) in April / May 1999. I achieved waist length in June / July 2002. So, it took a bit over three years.

Mid shoulder blade in Sept 02.... several inches (about 4) above waist length now....

I didn't really "start" from anywhere...it just happened...I just stop doing major cuts...if I had been taking better care of my hair, it would be a lot longer now - to my waist by now...
But ok....I guess if I had to answer, I only started "growing" my hair 1.5 months ago. "Back then" my hair was about 2 inches below bra strap straightened. I'll find out how long it is when I get it straightened and trimmed again at the end of the month. I should be just a few inches shy of waist length.

Wow! 3 years Allandra! It usually takes 3 years for people with average growing hair to reach bra-strap length. Does your hair grow above the normal rate?

I can see it as very possible especially if you're wearing protective styles as Allandra does. That means that she was probably able to keep her length as her hair grew instead of having to trim half of it every year. Please correct me, if I am wrong Allandra!
