How long can you keep conditioner?

I've got a huge bottle of Nexxus Humectress that I purchased close to three years ago. I've since become an ORS RP fiend so the half-used bottle just sat under my sink for ages. Do you all think it's still "good"? How long have you kept conditioners/shampoos/other hair products?

As cheap as I am, I wouldn't use it usually things last for two to three years. I wouldn't risk it. It would be like eating meat a few days past its expiration date, sure you might be okay but there is a chance something will happen.

My hair eats conditioner so I never have any that stays un-used!!!!!!!!
But anything older that a year I would not use!!!!!!!

I wouldn't know ... but just wanted to suggest giving the manufacturer a call. I'm sure if you give them the batch number, they should be able to give you an answer. Coz for all you know, that particular bottle could be more than 3 years old, since you don't know how long it was sitting in the shop before that...
