How long can you keep a relaxer?

I ordered a 8lb tub of Affirm from Sheldeez and I want to know how long is it good for. I don't want it to go bad on me. Aby advice?

I have a 4lb tub of relaxer that I have had for about 6 months now and I haven't had any adverse reaction to it. I beleive that the tubs can last for a year or so Maybe a little longer as long as it is stored in a cool or room temperature dry place. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mocha1111 contacted Avlon and they said that there is no required expiration date for relaxers. However, to assure optimum performance, they recommend that the product is used within 3 yrs of production. KT
