Ladies with TWAs have you gotten it lined by a barber?

My step dad is says I need to get my hair lined. I'm afraid to end up looking like a dude.

My hair is not lined either...I wanted to keep the natural look...

I didn't want that tapered or faded look....

i got the back of my twa "rounded" and it looks GREAT!! i would never get the front lined though....

When I got my BC I had my hair edged up but not since then. It's been about 2 months.

DH did mine...I think it makes it look a little more polished. I'm not sure what I'm going to do one it starts growing though.

As LaToya stated, it will make you look more polished. I don't think there is problem with getting it lined up.

nope , nah ! My bf wanted to do it because I have a werewolf nape ... but nah ! When it grew out , I knew it would have looked funky and the only way to keep it looking nice was to continue doing it

No. I think I looked fine without and didn't think it was necessary. I did however want to get my hair shaped (still do) but I didn't want any more of my hair cut. I'm going to get my hair shaped later this year since my hair will be longer. I will not be going to a barber because I know they'll cut way too much off (seen it happen too many times). I'm going to try doing it myself. I've done well cutting my own hair in the past so I can't foresee any problems doing it myself.

I also stayed away from the clippers. When I first did my bc my edges in the front were almost non existant anyway, and I just never got around to getting the back done.
