I just think it's really cute and could be someone professional. And it doesn't look like there is any hair added which to me can be a pain by pulling to hard on your scalp.

pantyhose??? lol no its a hair band. the hair is cliped up. but if i do find a nice color panyhose i will cut it and make a head band. nobody would know lol lol.... but the one in the pic is a band.

btw i think that hair style would look very nice on you.

It's two strand twists that have gotten wet. My two strands look like that after I wash them a few times.

LadyRaider, i definitly think you should try this style, but add your own twist to it, you know, fluff it up. and on your black hair, the shine would come out more too. it would look hot.

It's small twists on her own natural hair, the ends are left curly and I imagine the style could last a few weeks to a month.

Those are two strand twists... quite possibly my favorite style of all time and the way I wear my hair everyday, lol.

They look great on her.

ETA: I'm actually going to be re twisting my hair today after having my current twists in for the past 6 weeks. Very low maintenance style.

That is Malia. The younger girl is Sasha.

It two strand twists on Malia's natural hair, which I think is APL when straight. It was beyond her shoulders a year ago & is kept in protective styles most often so she may be on her way to BSL hair.

Twists can last for a month or longer since one can wash hair that is in twists. Mine lasted for 9 weeks (done with extensions).

They need to be washed/conditioned but there really is no maintenance....which is why I am having them installed again this month. The edges get frizzy but gel fixes that.

Mine were $155 to install which included the hair.

Some ladies on this site do their own twists on their natural hair (no extensions). There are tons of youtube videos as well if you want to do your own.

Yes, those are twists. I realize they're wet in the picture, but twists are very flattering on her. And wow, Malia looks older in the OP picture since the last time I saw her.
