How do some of you ladies keep a wet set or twistout for more than a day?

Every night I moisturize my hair (spray with diluted leave in and apply carrot creme) thn I either twist it or put rollers in it. I wonder if I would retain more length by not doing it every night. Or maybe my hair will be in better condition with less handling?

Or does it really matter? I only lose about 2 hairs when i redo my hair.

How do you not do your hair every day and keep it looking fresh and keep it moisturized?

I have to use some sort of holding product, or else, my curls will be mush the next day. I typically leave my sets in a week at a time. Lottabody helps them to last long. For me, less manipulation is better. But if you are only losing 2 hairs, there's nothing to worry about.

To keep it looking fresh, I keep a can of oil sheen handy. Also, I oil my hair and apply some sort of product to it (generally grease

). This helps minimize frizzies as well.

when my hair was relaxed, i applied grease to my damp hair (not wet) and braided into 5 medium braids. then i srayed infusium 23 to the braids from root to end. then i tied my hair down with a silk scarf and blowdried my head with the scarf on. Go to bed, wake up remove the scarf and voila my hair stayed for at least three days. my edges were also smoothed down too. and if you decide to braid every night only run the comb through your hair once and rebraid.
