Lately, I have been trying to not constantly buy new products without using up the old ones. So, in an effort to use up what I have I reached under my bathroom sink and pulled out Silicon Mix Intensive Treatment and Siliocn Mix Leave-In along with Terax original Shine Lotion. This is the process I went through:

I shampooed hair first with Keracare Dry & Itchy Shampoo
followed by Keracare Hydrating Detangling Shampoo
Rinsed well/Towel dried hair
Added the Silicon Mix Intensive Treatment but in my hand, I mixed this deep conditioner with Almond Oil. Concentrating most of the mixture on my ends. Covered my hair with a plastic cap and sat under the hair dryer for about 30-40 minutes.

Rinsed products out of my hair and then towel dried. Added a bit of the Siliocon mix Leave in (about two teaspoons)and then added some of the Terax Shine Lotion (about a teaspoon) concentrating on the ends of my hair.

I then began to rollerset my hair adding only water to rewet my dry ends.
Sat under the hair dryer until my hair was completely dry. Removed rollers and waaalaaa -- super soft and shiny hair. I have wrapped my hair and covered with a satin sleep cap. I will give the final results in the morning.

DH loved how soft my hair was and commented on the same.

ETA: I forgot to mention that after I rollerset my hair and before getting under the dryer that I sprayed my hair with Matrix Colorsmart reflective shine spray

I LOVE THE RESULTS!!!!! For the first time with this rollerset, I used more rollers than ever, I did the mohawk, with three rows of rollers on each side. (red magnetic rollers). I won't have to blowout any roots to rid myself of the dents, because I don't have any of significance. To me my hair looks like I blowdried and flat iron it, but I achieved these results with rollersetting and then wrapping overnight. If I can continue to get these kind of results I may never go back to my blowdryer/flatiron, but only time will tell.

What made the difference -- I can't tell, but I know this, I will continue to add oil to my deep conditioners -- I still have about half a bottle of almond oil to use up.

Thanks to LHCF for all of the ideas.
