I just thought this would be a good thread for all of us as a reminder to all of us to always be kind to our hair.....

So i'll start first....today i Treated my hair to a good shampooing and conditioning and a deep conditioning.

I'm going back to regular shampoos and conditioners...because...the point blank clean my scalp better and my hair likes cones.

So tonight i used HE LTR s&c and deep conditioned with my Banana Brulee Deep conditioner....I LOVE that stuff!!! I could eat it!!:lick:

I LOVE the LTR line!!! After shampooing...i used the conditioner and my hair was soooooooo silky smooth!!! Its reall good on long hair!! I used this in the past...don't know why i stopped?:perplexed

Now i am airdrying in a rollerset ponytail (thanks Pokahontas!!!...i got the idea from her...:yep:)...instead of blowdrying it.

BTW how come its getting harder to find the LTR leave-in?

i treat my hair everyday.
this morning i sprayed my twists with ojon revitalizing mist and then put on a good amount of coconut oil. tonight im going to slather my twists with jojoba oil.

DC under dryer with mixture of Aussie Moist/EVOO/coconut oil/V05 Tea Tree condish for 20 min. Cooled down and DC under dryer for 20 more. Rinsed well. Applied unrefined Shea butter to new growth and ends. Coated entire length with African Pride Oil. Put into 4 large twists to airdry.

I've been doing this every 2 days for the past month and I swear I already see growth from this. There are quite a few sections at apl when I stretch the ng!

After gym today, I DC'ed my hair...usually I don't do that until Sunday which is my wash day. But I wanted to rinse out the sweat from my hair...the DC made my hair so soft...I think I will start DC twice a week, once on my wash days on Sundays and again mid-week. I keep so busy with school, etc, so I have to remember to take time out for my hair, too.

Oh, I don't do the dc every 2 days, only once/wk. I co-wash w/the Aussie Moist mixture every 2 days and then twist.

I took it out of my two buns, oiled/massaged my scalp with Moe Grow oil and BB Super Grow conditioner, and applied a deep conditioner mix of Aussie 3-Minute miracle, Biosilk Smoothing conditioner, and more Moe Grow Oil.

I'll leave that on for the night, sit under the steamer for 45 minutes tomorrow and rinse with tea. I'll let my hair air dry and wait until the end of the week to do it all over again and shampoo.

I'm trying to oil scalp/moisturize hair daily, DC twice a week, shampoo once a week, and style with heat twice a month (if that).

After 2 weeks of neglect, I finally detangled my puff last night. I'm planning to hot oil overnight with vatika, amla, and evoo. Shampoo and deep condition with steam...then possibly rollerset?

Well, I must confess, if it wasn't for the few challenges I'm in, I wouldn't have done anything to my hair. This past weekend was the first weekend since July that I haven't done my hair. I also usually DC on Tuesdays or Wednesdays and I didn't do that either. So, all I've done is moisturize with JC N&S and JBCO daily, and I've put Megatek on the scalp once. Last night, I put some MT on the nape area, since I just started the "Knockout Nape and Edges Challenge".

This has been a BIG hair slacker week for me. At almost 25 weeks post, I have a feeling, detangling is going to be a challenge this weekend. But, I'll try to do better this upcoming week, to make it easier for my stylist to apply my relaxer next week.

Before swim class, I made sure to wet my hair and then saturate it with cond before putting on my swim cap. After swim, I used my malibu swimmers poo followed by a moisturizing poo. I added some porosity control for 30 seconds and then my aphoghee 2 min mixed with silicon mix. Threw on my plastic cap and hit the road. This stay on my hair for over an hour. I rinsed and detangled carefully because I'm 14 wks post. I'm having some breakage, but not really sure why. I did a demi color almost 2 wks ago, so I hope this is not the culprit. I added leave ins and sat under my dryer to let my hair dry 80%. After that I added Jane Carter nourish and shine and smoothed it into a bun. It will remain like this until Sat when I can do my hardcore aphoghee protein treatment.

I have been kind of neglecting my hair. Still trying to get this regimen thing down. This morning, I used Cantu Shea butter and water on my NG (I am transitioning, almost 10 months post) and Cantu Shea butter on my ends, and I put my hair up in a Southern Tease Bun, starting to love this style! I must admit though, I was kinda of rough with the brush:wallbash:

I tried something new today...Applied Lustrasilk Shea Butter + Chloresterol on dry hair, detangled with wide tooth comb, left it alone for about 30 minutes. Rinsed in shower, slathered Oyin Honey Hemp Con. on, put on plastic cap and then a scarf. Sitting here with it still on, going under the dryer. Then it's AVC rinse, squeeze, air dry to about 60%, Seyani Hair Butter on new growth and ends, Giovanni Direct Leave-In on length followed by a light almond oil seal. Bantu knots.

Weellll....I have a confession: I have not done ANYTHING with my hair in.....wait for it.....3 weeks!! :drunk:

I will put a stop to this madness on Saturday, though... I plan to do a light protein treatment (prepoo) with Motions CPR, for about 10 minutes; followed by my most moisturizing VO5 conditioner. Then, I will airdry in 10 individual twists so I can wear a twistout for church on Sunday.

"She" only has 2 more days to wait for some attention.

I have been slowly and carefully detangling my 26 weeks post hair in an attempt to texlax this friday. I'm doing a lot of research on how to apply because I will be self-texlaxing.I plan on adding protein and oils into my relaxer to help fortify my hair throughout the process.

I treated my hair to a co-wash with Joico K-paks Intense moisturizer and mixed chicks leave-in for a curly, not phony pony..lol and sealed my ends with Castor oil

I've neglected my hair for a week.. So Today I washed with Suave Humectant and CO with NTM daily deep condis..I finally thoroughly detangled my hair..After searchin my hair bin for a few mins and realizing most of my leave ins are finished or almost finished :wallbash: .. I came across this palmers hair milk I bought when I first BC'd.. my hair hated it but I had no other choice..soo I applied it, some infusium, sealed with evoo and braided it up that way I can wear a braid out or an instant weave for work 2morrow... Hope my hair doesn't reject this cause if so IM SCREWED..lol
