Shea butter(even will natural oils) does not compare in my opinion. I used the plain butter for a month and later found out about CDHHB. The HHB make my hair way softer 4a/b and changes the texture of my new growth. When I was using shea butter , I added grape seed oil, almond oil, and jojoba oil.

To me, it doesn't compare. Shea butter is too hard and has to have too much stuff added to it to make it the consistency of HHB. I'm sure someone has a good recipe for a butter from shea butter. But, I'll just stick with the HHB!
