For the ladies with twists, how do you wash your scalp? Or do you wash it? I just got them about a week ago and I feel weird going longer than a week without at least washing my scalp.

The kind of twists I have are fluffy twists similar to Senegalese twists, kinky twists etc...they both are braided with 2 strands and not the 3 used with box braids. I want to wash them today but fearful they may become loose and start to fall out.

Suggestions?

Here is a pic of them:

are they extensions??? if so, what i do is separate it into a few sections....then dilute some shampoo, pour it on and massage my scalp with my fingers....then i do an ACV....i dont condition, so as to avoid build up....

apple cider vinegar.....you mix it with warm water and its a good way to cleanse your hair and scalp without drying you out....

I don't use extensions. I just wash my hair usually weekly when I have twists. I do them at home now because I don't like leaving them in for too long without washing.
