I would like to experiment with this oil this winter. What are some of the ways you use it and how has it helped your hair?

Thanks,

Tee

I use it after I wash my hair. I apply it by itself or mixed with olive oil. Makes my hair shiny and soft. I love it.

same for me; I also use on my ends for added protection.

I've used it with much success as an ingredient in the homemade Howse conditioner. I also used it in my homemade pomade based on Sweetcocoa's sheabutter pomade recipe. I plan to do some overnight scalp treatments with it this fall and winter mixed with other oils.--kc

Ditto on the shine...it's excellent for that. I usually mix it with everything else, safflower oil, olive oil or what ever oil mixture Ive got going at the moment.

I use it after I wash my hair it is very moisturising. My hair will dry curly instead of a big frizz bush.
WARNING do not buy the organic coconut oil from trader joes cos it STINKS. I added some lavendar so it is not as bad but still. I will use it up but never again....
