How do you transition to texlax from relaxed

I did a corrective on my hair about 5 months ago and im now realizing that this has to be the worst mistake. I miss my texlaxed hair. It was thicker shinier and less fragile. Now I fell like my hair is so delicate if I do anything it will break. Before , I felt like I could hang from a cliff by my strands for 48 hours. Has anyone ever felt like this. How do you go back. Im thinking from now on im going to base the hell outta my roots before i perm it. Go back to mizani for fine hair. I may even break that down with oils.
