I remember back in the day when I got perms, it would be silky & almost laying slicked down with no gel... I never let enough time go by to tell if it was growing thicker because I got regular & frequent touch-ups...

anyhoo, In a moment of temp insanity, I texlaxed ( underprocessed) my hair on Mon Feb 18...I had immediate regrets so I didnt even leave it on for 10 mins..
It got no where near bone straight...

today after my co-wash, Im noticing its kinda thick looking... but I cant tell if my hair is really thickening up or if the perm is "wearing off" ( for lack of a better term)

I have this situation. I think as the underprocessed hair gets "old" it stays reverted. When you relax the uderprocess hair seems to lay flat but as you wash it it starts to thicken up and become puffy.

You can tell the NG from the underprocessed by feeling close to the scalp or on freshly washed soaking wet hair.
I wonder if I keep underprocessing will my length all be thick and wavy?
