how do you spiral???

Should I start twirling the curlers from the root and then to the ends or from ends up to the root?

Some take the curlers and slide them down the lenght of the hair and then spiral from the bottom up but this method breaks the bond in the hair and would leave the curl not as "curled". The best method, IMNO, is to start from the bottom and then twirl towards the roots.
