How do you seal your braids?

Hi Everyone,

I do my own braids (usually medium size a litte bit bigger than a number two pencil). I like to leave my ends loose but because of the size of the braids, they would unraveled if I don't seal the braids where they begin to unravel. Currently I use rubberbands or glue. I've been looking to buy a tool or use a new method to seal my braids. I don't like using rubberbands because my braids get loose. I don't like to use glue because that can get really messy when I put on the glue myself. I've also used lighters before but I don't really want to get into that anymore.

The only tool I can fine is the one bellow from hot tools. Can I use this to to seal instead of burn off my ends? Do any of you know of another tool available or an easier, non messy method that I can use myself? Please share how you seal your braids.
