I'm very quickly... er I mean very slowly acquiring a hair care stash and trying to figure out how to store it in the little space my dorm room provides, as well as the most practical method of storage. However there are so many things to take into consideration such as brand, usage, frequency of usage, things that perform double duty, all-natural, chemical, somewhere in between, etc. How do you guys keep it all together?

I used plastic bins or the plastic drawers--I out grew under the sink a LONG time ago...

my stash is separated by
cheapie conditioners-
deep conditioners-
leave-ins and moisturizers-
proteins,
shampoos,
serums,
pomades and oils
gels

Then my rollers, flat irons, and other appliances are kept in seperate bins as well; it really is like a mini Sallys in my closet---and I am kinda embarrassed by it. I am out of country now but I am trying to kill the PJ in me and liquidate all of my stash. Another reason I went natural is so that I could use up all of the conditioners I have...smh.

i organize mine in two ways. the first way is by type of products. but also by use. the products i know i use almost everyday i just leave out in the open in a pile by themselves. but the other products i seperate in a bin.

I have one of those plastic drawers with the detachable wheels. There are 4 drawers. The first two drawers are smaller so I keep my hair accessories in those and I keep my products in the larger two.

I keep mine on my dresser, but I'm quickly running out of space, so some bins are probably in order soon.

But anyway, I organize by type. So all my shampoos are on one side, my rinse out conditioners are next to that, then my deep conditioners, then my leave-ins, then my moisturizers, then my oils. I also try to organize within the groups, so like, in my deep conditioner group, all my condishes with protein are with each other, all the moisturizing ones are together, the cholesterols are all together, so forth and so on.

The only exception is my all natural products, which I keep in their own section. So my EVOO, honey, ACV, EVCO, etc...those are all together, regardless of what they are for.

I have them stored in my linen closet in the bathroom by brand. It's just easier to locate that way. If i want something from Silk Elements, Keracare or Kenra i can go to that side/shelf and just grab it.

I use plastic drawers and i have them seperated

Shampoos and conditoners
Leave ins, moisturizers, butters, oils, gels
dc's
liters
misc

Conditioners I use frequently are right there in the shower with my body wash. For other stuff I have a rotation system; shelves in the nearby linen closet and a removable basket I can take in the bathroom. I also have a small e-tier shelf by the bathtub. I'm trying to stop putting stuff on the bathtub rim.

After constantly Agonizing over the Ernormity of My Stash,:look: I decided to Separate things out.

So, I separated the out following:

Deep Conditioners, Hair Masks/Masques, Hair Pastes, Intensive Hair Treatments

Daily Conditioners i.e. Butters, Balms, Lotions, Grease etc.....

Reconstructors, Leave-Ins and various Protein Treatments

Shampoos

Oils

*Recently: Items that I am trying to use up before the End Of Year all in one Box.*

I keep all of my hair products in a crate, use whatever I need and then put them back. Using a crate also helps to control my urges of becoming a product junkie...if there's no room for it in the crate, I'm not buying it .

I use one of these to keep the majority of products in

In no order but I know exactly where to find what

I have a shelf in the bathroom - with my lonely shampoo and tonnes of conditioners and DC's
A cardboard box in my wardrobe - with my bulk buys and powders
A tray on my dressing table (so the oils don't mark the surfaces) -
I keep them in order of frequency.. leave ins, moisturisers, oils towards the front.

I organize by line. I basically have a hair closet where I keep everything by line and sometimes in roll on clear storage.
My soap collection is in baskets and I also have an excel sheet where I keep track of my stash. It is color-coded :)

You're strong.
I would have just bought a bigger crate.
And kept the smaller one for "additional storage". :look:

The products that I use frequently are easily accessible to me and even they are all organized by shampoos, DCs, cheapie cowash conditioners, styling products, etc. All my ayurveda products are in one huge plastic container. My oils are in another huge container, etc...

After all the products I gave away, I still have 7 huge plastic storage containers filled with hair products.

shampoo bars/deep condtioners
leave ins/moisturizers/pomades
gel/oils/essential oils/glycerin

I keep my spritz in the fridge because it has aloe vera juice

I have a roller bin tha I keep most of my products in-overstock and stuff that I don't use that often. It's in my closet

weekly shampoo & conditioners are in a section of my bathroom tub platform (its like a wider rim)

Oils, creams, butters, pomades that I use almost daily are in a drawer in my bathroom

rollers flatiron is in a huge bag in my closet. I would love to get one of those bin towers

I store shampoos, conditioners, leave ins, serums, moisturizers and oils under one of my bathroom cabinets. I have a 7 drawer storage bin that I use to store: magnetic rollers, mesh rollers, flexi rods, scrunchies, roller pins, roller clips, head bands, satin bonnets, scarfs, flat irons, blow dryer and steam rollers. It looks like this one:
