Esp if you have shorter hair and those progress T-shirts won't be a good option for you? Lol, it was kinda haphazard and choppy but I just measured my hair in different areas of my head. I stretched my hair and used a tape measure. My average length is 7" (7.5 in some areas). I remember when I did the BC about 8 months ago, I was like 2", maybe three (but I chopped even more off those straighter pieces so it would be somewhat even). Anyhoo, based on my calculation, I got about 5" in 8 months. So I figure if I'm trying to gauge how much growth I get montly, I'd apply the following:

5/8 (5 inches in 8 months) =5/8=.625*8=5. My monthly average is .625". Just a little over 1/2 an inch. I guess that's pretty good, huh? :look::perplexed So in a year (barring any setbacks/breakage/unnecessary trims) I should get 7.5".

Am I right? Does anyone have a better formula?
