how do you make clip in weave tracks?

i hope i'm posting this in the right section. anyway. how do you make them? and can you use a barbie dolls hair if you wantd to? ( i haven't been to the hair store yet ) because i just want to make little sections to see what my hair would look like with highlights, because i'm too scared to get them.

You can buy these clips called "weave clips" and sew them onto to tracks of hair. This site sells them

by the way, i don't have hair gule, and i can't find my neddle oops. um can you use bobby pins?

I wouldn't do it if I were you, for fear of it slipping off. But yes, it can be pinned onto a cornrow.
