OK, so I just got my Shaealoe in the mail today, but now what? I have an idea of how to use it, but wanted to know how do you ladies get the best results from it? Thanks!

awww man, I forgot all about Shealoe. When I used it, I loved it. I use it mainly for moisture. When I wore my hair back in a bun, I would use Shealoe. I'm going to have to re-order when I come into some more money, lol. That stuff gave incredible shine!

My only gripe was that it melted and turned grainy because I ordered it sometime during the hot summer. It still worked great though!

Thanks so much ladies! very helpful link. I washed my hair tonight and mixed it in with my conditioner. my hair came out really soft. Then, after I towel dried, I took a glob (like a scoop using four fingers) and brushed it in my hair with my Denman brush. I did four big twists and wrapped my hair in a towel. I just took the twists out and its incredibly soft. I guess I will use it as a leave in for now. I also ordered some olive butter and organic coconut oil. I used a light mixture of those two on my ends and retwisted it. I'll see how it turns out in the morning.
Thanks again!

Maybe it was just the batch I had, but shealoe always make my hair feel kind of sticky, no matter how much or little I used my hair just didn't like it.

I love shealoe as a skin cream though. I like to massage it on after a bath, or rub some onto my hands after I've been washing dishes or cleaning.

TSUprincess, your hair looks lovely!:)

yeah, i tried it as a skin softener also and it worked great. Thanks for all the tips ladies, greatly appreciated.
