How do you grow out layers?

My nape is so close to SL, but the rest of my hair are in different layers. Some parts are ear length and the other is neck level. How do I get the rest of my hair to catch up? I am experiencing a lot how growth due to eating healthier. My green smoothie and coconut oil are making my hair and body very happy. can someone tell me how they grew their layers even or how long it takes to get them closer to being even?

It varies for different ppl. Just let it grow and baby the ends so that they dont need trimming.
