how do you get texlaxed hair?

Use a regular relaxer, leave it on for less time than you normally would if you were trying to get bone straight hair.

Process the hair and rinse before the hair becomes straight so some curl pattern remains intact.

so if I usually leave it in for 8 mins, I would leave it in for 4 mins instead?

I've never tried I but I hear some ladies use a mild relaxer and mix it with conditioner or oil to cut down on the processing time as well.
 
I use Mizani Relaxer in fine/colour treated and I mix it with 1 tbsp of olive oil.
