I found this out by accident. Lightly dust it with some baby powder and kinda rub it in, only a little tiny bit though!

Hmmmmm.....Really:eek: ....baby powder.....

Thank you so much MizaniMami!

I've had this bun dome, you know the one that's formed into a bun and my hair sits underneath it, not one of the donuts that your hair has to cover it. Anyway I've had this dome for a while but I rarely wear it because it is soooooooooooo shiny and that makes the difference in texture look even more apparent. Anyway I'm going to try this right now at work...I just bought another one.

I've read somewhere (Crown & Glory site or LHCF) about soaking the hair in apple cider vinegar.

ETA
Hair Used: 100% Kanekalon Fiber hair or. Human hair . Human hair retains more moisture, however you can't do the ends of the braid techniques. Kanekalon hair looks the absolute best for Braid Extensions. 100% synthetic hair does not hold well.

REMOVING THE ALKALINE BASE
You have an option to take the alkaline base off the Kanekalon hair by soaking the extended hair in vinegar and water. A sink full of water, 1 cup of regular vinegar. Soak 15 minutes, rinse, air dry. Spray braid spray on this hair piece by piece when apply to your hair. The alkaline base irritate the scalp in some. Source
